Progress Rocket Space Centre (RKTs Progress)

JSC "SRC Progress" (АО «РКЦ «Прогресс», also known as Samara Space Centre or RKTs Progress) is a Russian state-owned rocket and space centre headquartered in Samara, Russia, with origins tracing back to 1894. The centre is Russia's primary developer and manufacturer of the Soyuz-2 family of launch vehicles, the world's most flown orbital rocket family, used extensively by Roscosmos and international customers for crewed flights, cargo missions, scientific satellites, and commercial payloads. Beyond launch vehicles, JSC SRC Progress also designs and manufactures Earth remote sensing satellites and conducts spacecraft testing, positioning the centre as a cornerstone of Russia's space launch and satellite manufacturing industrial base.
