Planetary Systems Corporation (PSC, a Rocket Lab company following acquisition in 2021) is a US manufacturer of satellite deployment systems — principally the Canisterized Satellite Dispenser (CSD) and related heritage deployers — providing the space industry's most widely flown small satellite deployment hardware, with CSD systems deployed on more than 50 missions and releasing over 300 satellites into orbit. The CSD is a spring-loaded ejection system available in 3U through 27U configurations supporting CubeSat and small satellite rideshare deployments from International Space Station, commercial launch vehicles, and dedicated rideshare missions, with heritage reliability demonstrated across NASA, ESA, JAXA, commercial, and military customers. Planetary Systems Corporation operates as part of the Rocket Lab Space Systems division alongside Rocket Lab's Photon satellite bus, providing spacecraft deployment and rideshare integration services to the global small satellite community.
