Description
The PicoSaTs K/Ka-Band Transponder is a miniaturized dual-band RF transponder designed for 5G non-terrestrial network (NTN) applications aboard LEO CubeSats and small satellites. It integrates receive and transmit chains in a single compact unit optimised for the mass, power, and volume budgets typical of nanosatellite missions. The unit supports K-band uplink and Ka-band downlink, enabling high-throughput satellite communications for direct-to-device and backhaul applications in low Earth orbit constellations. Designed and manufactured in Italy, it targets commercial operators building 5G LEO satellite connectivity infrastructure.
