OrbAstro

OrbAstro (Orbital Astronautics Ltd.) is a UK and New Zealand-based small satellite platform manufacturer founded in 2017 by Ash Dove-Jay and Vinoth Gurusamy, two of the founding employees of Oxford Space Systems. The company designs and builds the ORB-class family of satellite platforms — ORB-3, ORB-6, ORB-12, and ORB-16 — optimized for commercial downstream applications including Earth observation, communications, and technology demonstration. OrbAstro platforms feature Xilinx Ultrascale+ processing, LPDDR4 memory, electric propulsion, full ADCS with dual star-trackers, S-band transceivers, and optical communications as standard configurations. The company's mission is to compress the time and cost from business idea to revenue-generating satellite operations for commercial customers.
