Omspace Rocket and Exploration

Omspace Rocket and Exploration Pvt. Ltd. (OSRE) is an Indian private space launch company founded in June 2020 by Dr. Ravindra Raj Binod Mistri, Maulik Mota, and Stutika Padamshali, headquartered in Ahmedabad, Gujarat. On March 14, 2026, the company launched a single-stage sub-orbital sounding rocket — the first private rocket developed on Gujarat soil — marking a milestone for India's private space sector. Omspace is developing Infinity-I, a reusable small satellite launch vehicle designed to carry approximately 350 kg of payload to low Earth orbit at altitudes up to 800 km, with a first commercial launch targeted for January 2028. The company raised INR 25 crore ($3 million) in pre-seed funding from a Dubai-based family office.
