Numalis

Numalis is a French deep-tech software company founded in 2015 and headquartered in Montpellier, specializing in AI explainability, validation, and formal verification for safety-critical systems in aerospace, defense, space, transportation, and healthcare. Born from scientific research, Numalis developed Saimple, a software tool that uses formal mathematical methods to explore the entire field of possible scenarios for an AI system — enabling comprehensive robustness validation that goes beyond traditional simulation-based testing. The company's technology is applied to on-orbit AI systems, satellite image processing, and autonomous space applications where AI reliability is mission-critical. Numalis founder Arnault Loualalen is the lead author of the international ISO/IEC 24029 standard on AI robustness.
