NSLComm (BeetleSat)

NSLComm, now rebranded as BeetleSat, is an Israeli satellite technology company developing flexible, deployable antenna technology and LEO satellite constellation services for high-throughput communications. Founded by Raz Itzhaki, former manager of Israel Aerospace Industries' nanosatellite department, NSLComm pioneered spring-loaded expandable fabric antenna technology for nanosatellites — stowed compactly during launch and deploying on-orbit — achieving communication speeds up to 100 times faster than conventional nanosatellites at approximately one-tenth the cost. The company launched its first prototype satellite in July 2019. Under the BeetleSat brand, the company is building a LEO constellation for global Ka-band connectivity supporting point-to-point secure communications, cellular backhaul, mobility services, and government applications. NSLComm/BeetleSat is backed by Jerusalem Venture Partners and the Israel Space Agency.
