NOVI Space

NOVI Space (formerly NOVI LLC) is a US-based space technology company founded in 2017 and headquartered in Arlington, Virginia, developing satellites with onboard computing infrastructure for edge processing and AI-driven Earth observation. NOVI's VISTAsat satellite constellation is designed to perform AI image analysis directly in orbit, eliminating the need to downlink large raw datasets and delivering actionable insights in near-real time. The company has conducted demonstrations with the US Air Force Research Laboratory and the Missile Defense Agency, with its SEED payload launched on a Space Force mission to test onboard AI processing hardware. NOVI plans to launch the first two VISTAsat satellites on SpaceX Transporter-16 and -17 rideshare missions in early 2026, with a 40-satellite constellation providing global revisit rates targeted for 2028.
