NazarX Research and Development Center is a Uzbek aerospace engineering organization founded in 2019 in Tashkent, Uzbekistan, focused on aviation and aerospace component manufacturing and the development of modular satellite platforms. The company's flagship concept is a modular satellite system where individual spacecraft components connect using snap-together mechanisms with magnetic connectors, enabling satellite assembly, reconfiguration, and upgrading using standardized interchangeable building blocks on Earth and potentially in orbit. The NazarX team comprises specialists in mechanical engineering, robotics software development, and aerospace engineering. The organization won the ActInSpace Hackathon in Uzbekistan in January 2026, a competition organized by the European Union as part of the EU Connectivity for Central Asia Programme, competing as part of a five-person team among thirteen teams in the national event. NazarX contributes to the development of space technology capability in Uzbekistan and Central Asia as both the regional space industry and the EU-funded space connectivity programs expand.
