NANOSAT MO Framework

The NANOSAT MO Framework (NMF) is an open-source software framework for nanosatellite mission operations, developed under the auspices of the European Space Agency (ESA) and the NanoSat Mission Operations Working Group (NWSG). The framework implements the CCSDS Mission Operations (MO) services standards, providing a standardized, platform-independent software architecture for nanosatellite flight and ground software that promotes interoperability and reduces development cost and time. NMF provides abstractions for onboard computer interfaces, parameter management, action management, and communication services, enabling satellite developers to build standards-compliant satellite software from reusable components. The framework is freely available on GitHub and is used by academic institutions, research centers, and commercial nanosatellite developers worldwide to accelerate their satellite software development.
