About Nanoracks

Nanoracks LLC is a US-based commercial space company founded in 2009 by Jeffrey Manber and headquartered in Houston, Texas, pioneering the commercialization of low-Earth orbit by creating the first commercial marketplace for ISS utilization. Nanoracks developed the first external commercial platform on the International Space Station, the first commercial airlock (Bishop Airlock, 2020), and the first commercial CubeSat deployers aboard the ISS, enabling hundreds of CubeSat launches for universities, startups, and agencies worldwide. The company provides commercial access to ISS-based research facilities, satellite deployment services, payload integration, and commercial LEO destination development. In 2021, Nanoracks was acquired by Voyager Space, which merged it with Starlab Space LLC — a joint venture developing the commercial Starlab space station to succeed the ISS. Nanoracks has supported over 1,400 research projects and deployed over 300 CubeSats, making it one of the foundational companies of the commercial space station economy.
