Momentus Inc. is a US-based in-space transportation and infrastructure services company founded in 2017 by Mikhail Kokorich and Lev Khasis, headquartered in San Jose, California, and listed on NASDAQ (MNTS). The company develops in-space transfer vehicles — called Vigoride — that use water plasma electric propulsion to transport satellites and payloads from launch insertion orbits to their operational orbits in LEO, MEO, and cislunar space, providing affordable last-mile delivery in space. Momentus also offers satellite hosting, in-orbit services, and in-space infrastructure solutions. The company faced regulatory challenges from the US government regarding foreign national ownership before completing a SPAC merger and going public.
