Metahelios

Metahelios is a UK-based deep-tech company developing Metafilter, a next-generation colour filter technology for high-resolution image sensors that replaces the traditional Bayer filter. The Metafilter technology delivers 30% enhanced sensitivity for low-light and night-time photography, improved colour sharpness, reduced glare, and simplified manufacturing supply chains by fabricating the filter from the pixel material itself. Metahelios has been selected by the Silicon Catalyst ChipStartUK program, received a €100,000 grant from the NATO DIANA accelerator (chosen from 2,600 applicants), and earned a $100,000 award from the Luminate accelerator, validating its breakthrough approach to image sensor manufacturing.
