MEASAT

MEASAT Satellite Systems Sdn. Bhd. is Malaysia's national satellite operator, founded in 1993 and headquartered in Cyberjaya, Malaysia. The company operates a fleet of geostationary communications satellites at the 91.5°E and 148°E orbital positions, providing satellite broadcasting, broadband internet, VSAT, maritime communications, and direct-to-home (DTH) television services across the Asia-Pacific region, covering South Asia, Southeast Asia, Australia, and the Pacific Islands. MEASAT is a key enabler of satellite connectivity for Malaysia, Indonesia, the Philippines, India, and other Asian markets. Major shareholders include Binariang Satellite Systems and Astro All Asia Networks. MEASAT operates the MEASAT-3, MEASAT-3a, MEASAT-3b, and MEASAT-3d satellites, with MEASAT-3d launched in June 2023 providing enhanced C-band and Ku-band capacity. The company has expanded into LEO IoT connectivity through partnership with Myriota.
