Malaysian Space Agency (MYSA)

The Malaysian Space Agency (MySA / Agensi Angkasa Malaysia) is Malaysia's national space agency, established in 2023 to consolidate and advance Malaysia's space activities under a dedicated government authority. MySA succeeds ANGKASA (National Space Agency of Malaysia, founded 2002) and operates the National Space Centre, coordinates Malaysia's satellite programs, and represents Malaysia in international space organizations. MySA manages the RazakSAT Earth observation satellite program and the new Malaysia Remote Sensing Satellite (MRSS) constellation, supports Malaysia's astronaut program (Angkasawan), and drives the development of Malaysia's commercial space industry. Malaysia has been an active space nation since the MEASAT GEO satellite program in the 1990s and the TiungSAT-1 microsatellite in 2000. MySA works toward the Malaysia Space Vision 2030 goals of developing Malaysian space technology manufacturing capabilities and establishing Malaysia as a regional space services hub.
