Mahina Aerospace is a Hawaii-based aerospace company operating as the commercial spinoff of the Hawaii Space Flight Laboratory (HSFL) at the University of Hawaii at Manoa. The company commercializes the Artemis CubeSat Kit, an open-source, space-ready satellite package developed by HSFL that enables universities, technical teams, and educational institutions to design, build, and operate their own small satellites. The Artemis CubeSat Kit complies with CubeSat Kit Bus (CSKB) standards and integrates power, communications, computing, thermal management, and payload subsystems in a complete flight-ready package. Mahina Aerospace provides purchasing support, hardware integration assistance, and associated educational resources to help customers through the satellite development process from kit assembly to launch preparation.
