About Lynk Global
Lynk Global Inc. is a US satellite communications company founded in 2017 by Charles Miller, Margo Deckard, and Tyghe Speidel, headquartered in Falls Church, Virginia, developing a "cell tower in space" LEO satellite constellation that delivers direct-to-standard-mobile-phone connectivity without requiring any hardware modification to existing handsets. Lynk's patented technology enables mobile network operators (MNOs) to extend their coverage globally using unmodified mobile devices, providing messaging, voice, and data services in remote and rural areas with no terrestrial mobile coverage. Lynk launched its first operational satellites ("Lynk Towers") in April 2022 and by mid-2026 operates five satellites with regulatory approvals in more than 30 countries, backed by more than 50 commercial service contracts covering approximately 60 countries. In March 2025, Lynk announced a strategic partnership and funding agreement with global satellite operator SES. In October 2025, Lynk and Omnispace announced plans to merge to create a comprehensive global direct-to-device (D2D) connectivity company.
