LuxSpace Sàrl is a Luxembourg-based satellite company and subsidiary of OHB SE, specializing in the development and operation of small and nano-satellites for commercial and scientific missions. The company developed and operates the TricomSat constellation of nanosatellites for global maritime Automatic Identification System (AIS) vessel tracking, providing near-real-time ship positioning data for maritime domain awareness, logistics management, and environmental monitoring. LuxSpace also develops and integrates small satellite platforms for other commercial operators and institutions. As a member of the OHB Group, LuxSpace contributes to Luxembourg's vision as a European space hub and works alongside other OHB subsidiaries to deliver end-to-end satellite development and operations capabilities from Luxembourg's favorable space regulatory and investment environment.
