Lunasonde

Lunasonde is a space technology company developing ground-penetrating radar systems and subsurface sensing technologies for lunar exploration. The company's systems are designed to map the Moon's subsurface stratigraphy, detect ice deposits at permanently shadowed polar craters, and characterize the regolith properties relevant for future lunar resource utilization and base site selection. Lunasonde's technology builds on heritage from orbital radar sounders used on Mars by NASA's MARSIS and SHARAD instruments, adapted for small satellite and rover deployment on the Moon.
