Lanteris Space Systems

Lanteris Space Systems is an American satellite manufacturer based in Palo Alto, California, with a heritage dating to 1957. The company was originally established as Philco's Western Development Laboratories, becoming Space Systems/Loral in 1990 and then part of Maxar Technologies in 2017. In October 2025 it was rebranded as Lanteris Space Systems, and in January 2026 it was acquired by Intuitive Machines. The company has delivered over 285 satellites and built the 1300-class bus used by more than 99 operational geosynchronous satellites.
