L-Garde

L-Garde, Inc. is a US-based deployable structures company headquartered in Tustin, California, specializing in inflatable and gossamer space structures including solar sails, large deployable antenna reflectors, and inflatable booms for NASA and commercial space missions. Founded in 1971, L-Garde has more than 50 years of heritage developing space-deployable technologies. The company's Sunjammer solar sail, designed for deep space propulsion using solar radiation pressure, was selected for a NASA Technology Demonstration Mission. L-Garde also developed the first inflatable reentry vehicle (inflatable heat shield) and contributes inflatable structural technology for future concepts including large inflatable habitats and deployable sunshade structures for space science missions.
