Kuva Space

Kuva Space (formerly Reaktor Space Lab) is a Finnish space company founded in 2016 and headquartered in Espoo, Finland, pioneering hyperspectral Earth observation from LEO nanosatellites. The company developed Finland's first commercial satellite — Reaktor Hello World, launched in December 2018 — demonstrating low-cost, hyperspectral remote sensing from a CubeSat platform. Under the Kuva Space brand, the company is building the KUVA constellation of hyperspectral nanosatellites designed to deliver daily global hyperspectral imagery at ~50 m resolution, enabling applications in precision agriculture (crop health and yield prediction), water quality monitoring, coastal and forest ecosystem management, mining, and environmental compliance. Kuva Space has raised over €20 million in funding and is supported by the Business Finland Space program, contributing to Finland's ambition to be a global leader in commercial space technology.
