Kepler Communications

Kepler Communications is a Canadian satellite communications company founded in 2015 and headquartered in Toronto, Ontario, building a LEO satellite constellation to provide high-bandwidth data relay and backhaul connectivity for remote IoT devices, satellites, and ground infrastructure in polar and underserved regions. Kepler's constellation operates in polar orbits, enabling continuous connectivity for Arctic operations (shipping, oil and gas, weather stations), maritime services, and space relay (providing downlink data relay for other satellites that cannot reach their primary ground stations). The company's KALO broadband service delivers Ku-band data services for enterprise and government users. Kepler raised over $60 million CAD in funding from investors including MaRS Investment Accelerator Fund, Export Development Canada, and international venture capital. The company has launched multiple Generation 1 nanosatellites and is expanding toward a full commercial constellation supporting the Canadian Arctic communications mandate.
