iQPS (Institute for Q-shu Pioneers of Space) is a Japanese company founded in 2005 in Fukuoka developing commercial SAR (synthetic aperture radar) satellites. The company's QPS-SAR satellites are ultra-compact 100 kg SAR satellites capable of imaging through clouds and at night. iQPS aims to operate a 36-satellite constellation achieving 10-minute global revisit intervals, targeting maritime surveillance, disaster response, and infrastructure monitoring.
