Intuitive Machines

Intuitive Machines, LLC is a US space exploration company headquartered in Houston, Texas, developing lunar landers, space infrastructure, and data services for NASA and commercial customers. The company's Nova-C lunar lander is a six-legged, methane/liquid oxygen-powered spacecraft capable of delivering up to 100 kg of payload to the lunar surface. On February 22, 2024, Intuitive Machines' IM-1 mission successfully landed the Odysseus Nova-C lander near the lunar south pole — becoming the first US spacecraft to land on the Moon since Apollo 17 in 1972 and the first commercial spacecraft to successfully land on the Moon. The IM-1 mission was awarded under NASA's CLPS (Commercial Lunar Payload Services) program. Intuitive Machines is a publicly traded company (NASDAQ: LUNR) and also provides lunar data relay services through its Near Space Network ground systems and is developing the Lunar Terrain Vehicle for NASA's Artemis program.
