Hongqing Technology (Honghu-3)

Hongqing Technology (洪晴科技) is a Chinese commercial space company developing the Honghu-3 (鸿鹄-3) satellite system for broadband LEO communications. The Honghu-3 is a high-throughput LEO communications satellite program targeting commercial broadband connectivity for China's domestic market and potentially international markets. Hongqing participates in China's rapidly expanding commercial satellite sector, which has grown dramatically since 2014 when the Chinese government opened the space sector to private investment.
