Hokkaido Spaceport (SPACE COTAN)

SPACE COTAN Co., Ltd. is a Japanese company developing and operating the Hokkaido Spaceport at Taiki-cho (Taiki Town) in Hokkaido, Japan's northernmost main island, as a commercial launch site for small orbital rockets and sounding rockets. The Taiki Aerospace Research Field is Japan's first private commercial spaceport, offering horizontal launch capabilities and coastal launch corridors over the Pacific Ocean. SPACE COTAN provides launch site services including range operations, vehicle processing facilities, and launch campaign support. The spaceport is positioned as Japan's primary commercial small launch site alongside JAXA's government launch facilities at Tanegashima and Uchinoura, and serves Japanese commercial launch vehicle companies including Interstellar Technologies.
