Guowang (GW / China SatNet)

China Satellite Network Group Co., Ltd. (中国卫星网络集团有限公司, China SatNet/Guowang/GW) is a Chinese state-owned enterprise established in 2021 by the State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission to develop and operate the Guowang (国网) LEO broadband satellite internet mega-constellation. Guowang is approved for approximately 13,000 satellites and is China's government-backed counterpart to SpaceX Starlink and Amazon Kuiper, designed to provide broadband internet access across China and globally. China SatNet manages the development, launch, and operation of the Guowang constellation, coordinating with Chinese satellite manufacturers, launch operators, and government agencies to deploy China's national broadband satellite infrastructure.
