GMV focusSuite — Satellite Mission Control and Ground System Software
Description
GMV is a Spanish privately-held technology company and one of Europe's leading providers of satellite ground system software, navigation technology, and space systems engineering. GMV's focusSuite is a comprehensive suite of satellite mission control center (MCC) software used by ESA, NASA, EUMETSAT, and commercial operators worldwide to control and operate spacecraft. focusSuite includes FOCUSMT (mission timeline planning), FOCUSMCS (mission control system), and HIFLY (high-performance flight dynamics system) — supporting over 200 spacecraft operations programs globally including ESA's Copernicus Sentinels, Galileo navigation satellites, Gaia, BepiColombo, and Juice. GMV also provides the GNSS receiver software algorithms powering navigation chipsets for Galileo and GPS in automotive, aviation, and mobile devices — the company's NaviSuite is used in safety-critical maritime and aviation GNSS receivers. In robotic space exploration, GMV supplied the navigation, guidance, and control software for ExoMars rover (AMALIA and Exomars 2028). GMV operates mission control centers in Madrid, Darmstadt, Oberpfaffenhofen, and seven other European cities, and is a key contractor for ESA ESOC ground segment operations.
