Ghalam LLP

Ghalam LLP is a Kazakhstani spacecraft manufacturing joint venture founded in 2010 in Astana, Kazakhstan, established as a partnership between Kazakhstan's national space company Kazakhstan Gharysh Sapary and Airbus Defence and Space. The company operates the most advanced Spacecraft Assembly, Integration, and Testing Complex (SBIK) in the Commonwealth of Independent States, with capabilities to perform vibration, electromagnetic, and thermal vacuum testing of spacecraft with mass up to six tons. Ghalam LLP serves as a mission integrator and spacecraft assembly facility for Kazakhstan's national space programs and has been contracted to produce the KazEOSat-MR constellation of medium-resolution remote sensing satellites. The company is also developing satellites for Nigeria and the Democratic Republic of Congo, positioning Kazakhstan as an emerging satellite manufacturing hub. Ghalam is an International Astronautical Federation member and contributes to developing Kazakhstan's sovereign space industrial capabilities.
