Geespace (Zhejiang Geespace Technology Co., Ltd., Chinese: 时空道宇) is a Chinese commercial satellite company founded in 2018 in Taizhou, Zhejiang Province, as a subsidiary of Geely Holding Group. The company is building a low Earth orbit satellite constellation designed to provide centimeter-level precision navigation and positioning services, with a primary focus on supporting connected and autonomous vehicle applications. Geespace launched its first batch of satellites in 2022 using Long March 2C rockets, marking an important milestone in China's commercial satellite navigation sector. The constellation is planned to reach a scale that enables real-time, high-accuracy positioning to complement China's BeiDou navigation system for automotive and transportation applications. Geespace combines Geely Group's automotive industry expertise with commercial satellite technology to address the growing demand for high-precision positioning in the intelligent transportation sector.
