Gazprom Space Systems (GKS, Газпром Космические Системы) is a Russian satellite operator and space technology company headquartered near Moscow, Russia, operating as a wholly-owned subsidiary of Gazprom PAO, managing the Yamal fleet of geostationary communications satellites and providing satellite communications, remote sensing, and Earth observation services to customers across Russia, Europe, and the Middle East. The Yamal satellite fleet includes Yamal-201, Yamal-202, Yamal-300K, Yamal-401, Yamal-402, and Yamal-601, operating in geostationary orbit and providing transponder capacity for digital television broadcasting, broadband internet, telephony, VSAT corporate networks, and government communications across Russia and adjacent regions. Founded in 1992, Gazprom Space Systems serves broadcasters, telecommunications operators, internet service providers, government agencies, and corporate users requiring reliable geostationary satellite capacity and value-added satellite services, and operates satellite communication earth stations and teleports across Russia.
