About Firefly Aerospace

Firefly Aerospace, Inc. was founded in 2014 (refounded 2017) and is headquartered in Cedar Park, Texas. Firefly operates the Alpha small-lift launch vehicle (~1 t to LEO) from Vandenberg SFB Launch Complex 2 and is co-developing the Medium Launch Vehicle (MLV) with Northrop Grumman as a successor to Antares 230+. The company also produces the Blue Ghost lunar lander (Mission 1 landed Mare Crisium March 2025) and the Elytra orbital transfer vehicle.
