Exodus Orbitals is a Canadian space technology company founded in 2018 and headquartered in Toronto, Ontario, developing a software-defined satellite platform that enables customers to deploy and run software applications directly on satellites in low Earth orbit. The company's satellite-as-a-service model allows operators to conduct Earth imaging, signal analytics, and other space-based missions without building or launching dedicated hardware, treating satellites like smartphones in space where operators submit applications to be executed on orbit. Exodus Orbitals flight-qualified its open satellite platform technology through the European Space Agency's OPS-SAT experimental satellite mission and graduated from Australia's first space-focused incubator, Moonshot. The company has partnered with LEOcloud to develop satellite-based cloud computing services.
