Esrange Space Center (SSC)

Esrange Space Center, operated by SSC Space (formerly Swedish Space Corporation), is Sweden's national space launch and test facility located near Kiruna in northern Sweden, offering sounding rocket launches, stratospheric balloon operations, spacecraft engineering, satellite launch services, and a global ground station network. With more than 600 sounding rockets launched historically, Esrange serves NASA, ESA, JAXA, DLR, and numerous commercial and academic customers for microgravity research, atmospheric science, and technology demonstration flights. SSC Space operates a global network of ground stations for satellite telemetry, tracking, and command, and the company has recently rebranded from Swedish Space Corporation to SSC Space to reflect its expanding international operations.
