About DPhi Space
DPhi Space is a Swiss space infrastructure startup that builds and operates OmniSat, a shared satellite platform enabling customers to host both hardware payloads and software applications in orbit without launching dedicated spacecraft. Their architecture features on-board compute servers capable of running distributed workloads and large language models directly in orbit, positioning the company at the intersection of space infrastructure and in-orbit computing.
In March 2025, DPhi Space flew its Clustergate-1 demonstration mission, validating multi-payload hosting and its on-orbit compute stack in actual flight conditions. The company raised CHF 2.1 million in pre-seed funding in February 2025 and has established a partnership with Momentus for future OmniSat missions.
DPhi Space's platform addresses the growing demand for scalable, cost-effective access to in-orbit computing and data processing capabilities, enabling customers to run AI workloads, edge computing tasks, and sensor fusion applications in space without the expense and complexity of owning and operating a dedicated satellite.
