ISIS CubeSat Platforms and Deployment Services — Nanosatellite Hardware from Delft
Description
Innovative Solutions In Space (ISIS) is a Dutch nanosatellite company founded in 2006 in Delft, Netherlands, providing CubeSat platforms, subsystems, and launch deployment services. ISIS was one of the first companies to commercialize the 1U–3U CubeSat format and offers a comprehensive catalogue of nanosatellite building blocks: ISIS OBC (onboard computers), ISIS TRXVU UHF/VHF radios, ISIS iEPS (intelligent EPS power systems), ISIS iADCS attitude control systems, ISIS solar panels, and turnkey 1U–6U satellite buses. ISIS also manufactures the QuadPack (4-unit) and TubeSat deployer (PPOD-compatible) CubeSat deployment mechanisms used on ISS, PSLV, and Vega launches. FUNcube-1 (shown in the ISIS clean room in Delft before its November 2013 launch) is a 1U CubeSat educational radio transponder built by AMSAT-NL and integrated/tested at ISIS, carrying an inverting SSB/CW transponder for ham radio operators and a beacon for school science experiments. ISIS also operates the CubeSat Shop (cubesatshop.com) — the world's first commercial CubeSat hardware webstore. In 2018, ISIS merged with Innovative Space Logistics (ISL) and was acquired by EnduroSat's parent group, continuing as a leading European CubeSat component supplier.
