COSATS Space

COSATS Satellite Technology Ltd. (also known as Xingzhong Space Technology) is a Chinese private satellite hardware company founded in 2013 and headquartered in Xi'an, Shaanxi Province, specializing in the design and manufacture of CubeSat deployers, satellite structures, and subsystem components for commercial and educational space missions. The company produced the COSPOD-3D deployer, the world's first CubeSat deployer manufactured using metal 3D printing technology, which was flight-verified aboard China's new-generation crewed spacecraft test vehicle in May 2020, marking the first in-orbit validation of a metal 3D-printed CubeSat deployer globally. COSATS also produces the COSTR series of satellite structures in 1.5U, 2U, 3U, and 6U CubeSat form factors, as well as sun sensors, reaction wheels, star trackers, green thrusters, satellite power systems, and educational satellite kits. In 2016, a COSATS deployer successfully released the world's first 12U CubeSat into orbit. The company serves educational institutions, research organizations, and commercial satellite operators in China and internationally.
