China Rocket Co. (Zhongguo Huojian)

China Rocket Co., Ltd. (Chinese: 中国火箭有限公司) is a Chinese commercial launch services company established in October 2016 in Beijing as a commercial subsidiary of the China Academy of Launch Vehicle Technology (CALT), China's primary launch vehicle developer and manufacturer. The company provides commercial space launch services using solid-propellant launch vehicles from the Jielong (Smart Dragon) family, offering fast, low-cost, and reliable access to orbit for small satellite customers. The Jielong-1 (Smart Dragon 1) light-lift solid-fueled rocket, carrying approximately 150 kg to 700 km Sun-synchronous orbit, completed its debut flight in 2019. The Jielong-3 (Smart Dragon 3), capable of carrying up to 1,500 kg to 500 km SSO, has completed multiple missions from Jiuquan launch base and sea launch platforms in the Yellow Sea and South China Sea. China Rocket Co. is backed by China Aerospace Investment Holdings and the National Military-Civil Integration Industry Investment Fund, and has achieved twelve successful launches with no failures, offering commercial rideshare and dedicated launch options for domestic and international small satellite customers.
