Balamis

Balamis (now operating as Microwave Sensors and Electronics S.L., MWSE.tech) is a Spanish company specialising in microwave electronics for harsh environments, developing multi-frequency space payloads, radars, radiometers, and RF front-end electronics for satellite missions and ground and airborne platforms. The company has developed the GASPER receiver for the Galileo navigation system, the FMPL-2 payload for the 3Cat-5/A nanosatellite, and FSSCat nanosatellite mission components, demonstrating capability in L-band radiometry, GNSS reflectometry, and custom space payload electronics design. Balamis/MWSE serves European space customers requiring miniaturised, low-power microwave payloads and electronics for small satellites and CubeSat-class missions.
