Avant Space

Avant Space (ООО «Авант-Спэйс Системс») is a Russian space startup founded in 2016, based at the Skolkovo Innovation Center in Moscow. The company is pioneering orbital advertising using custom CubeSat constellations equipped with laser systems to display branded imagery visible across major global cities at night.

Project Neone involves deploying a constellation of up to 30 nanosatellites in low Earth orbit — each approximately 4U CubeSat form factor (~7.5 kg) with synchronized laser systems. The constellation is designed to display logos and symbols visible simultaneously from over 130 major cities worldwide, with an estimated audience reach exceeding one billion people per orbital pass (~every 98 minutes).

Avant Space manages the full service lifecycle from constellation design and satellite manufacturing through launch procurement (Falcon 9, Vega, PSLV), ground control operations, and customer scheduling. Production and launch lead time is approximately 24 months from contract signing, with satellites operating in orbit for approximately one year.
