About Aurora Space Chile
Aurora Space Chile is a Chilean space technology company founded in 2015 to develop and operate small satellites and deliver space-based services for Latin American customers. Based in Santiago, Aurora builds on a strong heritage in the Chilean academic space community, including collaboration on the SUCHAI CubeSat programme developed at Universidad de Chile.
The company offers end-to-end small satellite development services, from mission design and systems engineering through to integration, testing, and launch. Aurora provides turnkey solutions for remote sensing, communications, and scientific missions in low Earth orbit.
Aurora's satellite-based services include remote sensing data products for agriculture, mining, disaster response, and environmental monitoring—key sectors for the Latin American economy. The company also offers IoT connectivity services using small satellites to connect remote assets across the continent where terrestrial networks do not reach.
With the Ascending Memories technology demonstration mission and the SUCHAI programme in its portfolio, Aurora Space Chile brings proven flight heritage and a multidisciplinary team of engineers and scientists committed to growing Chile's space sector.
