Astronomikon lab

Astronomikon Lab is a Russian nanosatellite research and development laboratory operating at two major St. Petersburg universities: Baltic State Technical University VOENMEKH (BSTU VOELMEH) and St. Petersburg Polytechnic University (SPbPU). The laboratory develops the SINERGIA block-modular small satellite platform, a 100 x 100 x 100 millimeter modular building block system designed to enable rapid assembly of nanosatellites from standardized structural and functional modules. The SINERGIA architecture supports a range of mission configurations from 1U to multi-unit spacecraft by combining standardized modules covering power, communications, attitude control, onboard computing, and payload functions. Astronomikon Lab focuses on making space technology more accessible to universities and research institutions through modular and affordable nanosatellite platforms, contributing to Russian academic satellite development and space engineering education in the St. Petersburg region.
