Astronika

Astronika sp. z o.o. is a Polish private company founded in 2013 as a spin-out from the Space Research Center of the Polish Academy of Sciences (CBK PAN). Staffed by engineers with deep experience in space mechanism design, the company delivers compact, lightweight, and energy-efficient solutions to the global space industry.

The company specializes in three core areas: planetary exploration and space resource utilization hardware; deployment systems including antennas, booms, and hold-down and release mechanisms (HDRMs); and positioning mechanisms and actuators for attitude and orbit control systems (AOCS). Astronika has contributed to high-profile missions including NASA's InSight Mars lander (HP3 Mole penetrator, with DLR), ESA's JUICE, RadCube, Hera, PROSPECT, Athena, and ExoMars.

Operating from Raszyn near Warsaw, Astronika designs and manufactures deployable structures, lock-and-release devices, ultra-light robotic manipulators, orbital CubeSat deployers, space bearings, electromagnetic actuators, optomechanical structures, and satellite frames. Its engineering services span structural and thermal analysis, tribology, precision manufacturing, functional testing, and GSE design.
