Aptos Orbital is a Palo Alto-based space technology company founded in 2024 that develops the Aptos Terminal — a space-hardened computing device providing edge AI compute, persistent global communications, and direct integration with cloud services such as AWS and Azure from orbit.

The Aptos Terminal offers 99% global coverage with pole-to-pole data connectivity, enabling satellites to access cloud services and transmit data with near-continuous availability. With over 5.5 years of proven orbital operation and TRL9 status for LEO deployment, the device features proprietary radiation protection (SEU/SEL hardening) for long-duration orbital processing without corruption or failure.

Aptos Orbital's customers and partners include leading satellite operators such as Spire, EnduroSat, Astroscale, True Anomaly, Turion Space, and Lumen Orbit, alongside technology partners AWS, NVIDIA, and Iridium. The company is also engaged with NASA and MIT Lincoln Laboratory, validating its technical approach to orbital edge computing.
