AP Satellite (APSI)

Asia Pacific Satellite Inc. (APSI) is a South Korean space and satellite communications company established in 2011 and listed on KOSDAQ in 2016. Headquartered in Gyeonggi-do, the company develops and manufactures both ground-based satellite communication terminals and space-qualified hardware for satellite missions.

On the ground segment side, APSI is the exclusive Korean distributor of Thuraya satellite phones and devices, serving maritime, land mobile, and fixed satellite communications markets. The company also provides SAR imagery services in South Korea through a partnership with ICEYE.

In the space segment, APSI has contributed space hardware to major Korean programs including the Danuri lunar orbiter and the Korean Positioning System (KPS) satellite. The company produces standard onboard computers, space data recorders, micro satellite avionics, and small satellite platforms — playing a key role in Korea's growing commercial space industry.
