About Alaska Aerospace Corporation
Alaska Aerospace Corporation (AAC) is a state-chartered corporation that owns and operates the Pacific Spaceport Complex – Alaska (PSCA) located on Kodiak Island, Alaska. Founded in 1991, PSCA is one of the few commercial launch sites with unrestricted polar and sun-synchronous orbit capability, making it ideal for Earth observation and military payloads. The facility supports orbital launches (including Astra Space missions) as well as suborbital test missions, and has hosted NASA sounding rockets and military target vehicles.
