Aevum Inc, founded in 2016 and headquartered in Auburn, Alabama, is developing the Ravn X — the world's largest UAS — as a fully autonomous airborne launch system for small satellites. Unlike traditional air-launch platforms, Ravn X operates without a human crew, enabling responsive, on-demand access to any orbit at significantly lower cost. The system is designed to dramatically reduce the time from mission decision to deployment, targeting the growing market for tactical and commercial small satellite launches.
