About Aerojet Rocketdyne

Aerojet Rocketdyne (now absorbed into L3Harris Technologies after 2023 acquisition) was a major US aerospace propulsion company with over a century of history. The company developed iconic rocket engines including the RS-25 Space Shuttle Main Engine (reused on SLS), the RL10 upper stage engine (widely used on Atlas V, Delta IV, and Vulcan), the AJ10 used on Orion, and extensive lines of monopropellant and bipropellant spacecraft thrusters. Its heritage spans from Titan ICBM propulsion to the Apollo program and current NASA flagship missions.
