ATI Space (Advanced Technology Institute)

Advanced Technology Institute LLC (ATI) is a Tokyo-based engineering firm strongly supporting space development across satellites and launch vehicles. The company provides engineering services and specialist products for both the Japanese and international space communities, covering all major space system disciplines including spacecraft design, propulsion, attitude control, thermal management, communications, structures, sensors, and radiation-hardened electronics.

ATI is best known for manufacturing high-performance thermal vacuum chambers used for satellite ground testing. Their chamber range spans from compact component-testing models to large system-level chambers, with shroud temperatures below 100K and pressure levels down to 6.5×10⁻⁵ Pa — all meeting JAXA and international qualification standards. Custom designs are available.

ATI also supplies flight-heritage space components including star trackers, triple-junction GaAs solar cells and panels, GPS receivers, reaction wheels, S/X/Ka-band communication systems, and radiation-hardened electronics.
